Hmm.

Well I am actually planning on getting an IBM z9 E56. Am going to start replacing all my systems with a bare minimal system and then run a Domain Controller off of the z9 and install dedicated machines as needed on it. Then the minimal machines can all RDP/VNC into them freely. I have roughly 90Mpbs of download and upload speed, so the experience should be relatively equivalent otherwise.

We do not need your show off over here default_tongue.png You are too rich I do not know why you aren't getting better cars than better computer. Your computer is already beast enough to run anything...well beside games.

Haha. default_tongue.png

You are correct; it doesn't play games very well though my daughter manages to play some games every now and then. Anyhow, I actually made up my mind and will be getting an IBM z10 E64 with 75 CPU's @ 4.4GHz, 1.5 TB of RAM and 350 TB SSD's in RAID 0. I will be inserting 15 AMD R9 280 GPU's to provide quality video acceleration, among other processing power needs.

As for why I do not spend my money on cars, it is because being as tall as I am makes it rather difficult in general. Anyhow, I enjoy technology which is why I will be getting this new machine. I'll be sure to have fun with it.

I drive off to pick-up the unit Saturday.

Shush please I'm getting toooooooo jealous. Here's another idea. You get an improvement to your house like better toilet lol, build an extra room, buy extra TV's. I don't know just anything beside a beast rig lol. What are your intention to buy a beast rig? And what are you planning to do with that?

For shit's sake, Terrence -- what this guy said!

What in the Hell are you going to use it for? Do you know how many bitches you could bang for the price of that system? Man, you're missing out.

If you change your mind, let me know. I'll send a couple of my girls to you. Don't worry, you'll get some top-quality products for the price of that mainframe.

By the way, I like these forums. They are sexy, (just like the OP) much better so than those old dilapidated forums. The old forums are running software a pedophile would be running...laugh-out-loud. Thanks to Gilly! :D

Anyway... my

laptop specs:

ThinkPad T400

Microsoft Windows Vista Enterprise

Intel Xeon E5 520 @ 2.26GHz CPU

250GB HDD

6GB RAM

PC Specs:

OS: Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition (Upgraded from Windows XP Professional)

RAM: 32 GB RAM (Upgraded from 4 GB)

CPU Intel Core i7-4670K (Upgraded from Intel Pentium IV to Intel Core 2 Duo)

GPU: AMD HD 6670

Despite the fact that DirectX 11 isn't officially supported on Windows XP, I was able to "hack" the system to a point where it does work, allowing me to play battlefield 3 and battlefield 4 to perfection. It's not a beast gaming rig (obviously) but it gets the job done. I get about 90-100FPS on Battlefield 3 and 30-40FPS on Battlefield 4.

Screw Microshit and their MetroRetard UI.

  • 1 year later...

I may not have the best PC specs but I do have possibly the best internet >:) my service just upgraded their top speeds in my area and since I was already previously paying for the top download speed in my area (50mbps) I got the jump to 300mbps no extra cost /emoticons/wink@2x.png 2x" title=";)" width="21">
