Emergency Service Restoration (September 16, 2014)

This is an announcement informing everyone of an emergency system reconfiguration and service restoration that took place on September 16, 2014. A system misconfiguration resulting in bugged software caused the entire system to go down on September 15, 2014. As a result, all system data had been compromised and had to be reinstalled without prior backup. As of September 16, 2014, all services have been confirmed to be restored however due to lack of data access during the emergency, services have only been able to be restored to the state as of September 4th. As such, any data occurring between then (posts, PMs, modifications, etc) have been lost.

 

We do apologize for this incident and will investigate further to ensure that it does not happen again.
