REGISTRAR MIGRATION & APPARENT DOWNTIME

Hello,

 

This is an official announcement regarding the recent apparent downtime of our website and the "This domain has expired" message some people experienced when visiting our network. During our planned migration from our old domain registrar to our new domain registrar, some unforseen technical issues arose on the registrar's end, resulting in the temporary inability to successfully transfer our domain out to the new location.

 

The technical issues began the night of Tuesday May 27, 2014 and were resolved the morning of Wednesday May 28, 2014. Due to the nature of DNS propagation however, changes had not globally propagated throughout the Internet until several days after. Then, newly entered DNS records in the new registrar took additional time to propagate, ultimately resulting in the delayed apparent downtime of our website and related services.

 

As of Monday June 2nd, 2014, all services have been confirmed to be publicly restored and operational by the Department of Information Technology.
