Service Database: Development Updates

Recommended Posts

Christopher

Greetings All,

Development of Service Database 14 is well under-way and almost complete. There's a lot to the Service Database and with little time available to actually spend on developing it, its definitely a challenge. But rest assured, it won't be released until it's ready.

The Beta Release Edition will feature all functional databases and desktops accessible and will be available for production use. The only lacking feature will be complete Help & Support Documentation. Of course, I expect there to be bugs and whatnot, but hopefully they'll be minimal. Some of the advanced Administrator Tools and extra features will be deprecated for various reasons including compatibility and time constraints. Such features will be included in the next major release of the Service Database. Service Database 14 will not likely include support for Grand Theft Auto V or Battlefield 4 on release. Instead, these games will also be supported by the next major release of the Service Database.

The next major release of the Service Database is Service Database NT. Service Database NT will include more advanced features including a revised UI, a cleaner feel, and will allow further customization to individual users. The acronym "NT" is used to illustrate the release's redesign with New Technology. You can see a small snippet of it above (though that is not even a Pre-Alpha build, and is of course, subject to change). In addition to the new and advanced features Service Database NT will offer, it will also include support for the latest games, Grand Theft Auto V and Battlefield 4. Beta versions might not include support for all games, but all support is planned for the final release.

Further updates will be provided as needed. Thanks for your cooperation and patience!
