Formal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)

Just a quick introduction on the new undercover unit of T.W.A.T.:

The Formal Bureau of Investigation (or FBI, for short) is a special services unit of the Team of Weapons And Tactics composed of members who go online as undercover players, users, and visitors of various game servers, websites, and any other various services that can be found on the global Internet. These members (referred to as FBI Agents) are highly trained and dedicated special operation units that act as the eyes and ears for the Team of Weapons And Tactics.

FBI Agents may be assigned tasks or operations to go undercover to investigate a gaming clan or guild to find insights on their operations, procedures, in addition to some other various information. This information in turn is examined and used as knowledge to the Team of Weapons And Tactics as preventative measures so that similar activities that may be frowned upon by members, not to be repeated at the Team of Weapons And Tactics. Agents also go undercover for very typical reasons, such as monitoring our game servers, websites, and other services that we operate ourselves, to check and see what others do when authority figures such as server administrators, moderators and/or staff are not around. Agents who spot violations may take immediate administrative actions at times and at other times, they may wait before making a move. Similarly, they may sometimes be vocal when a violator is noticed; other times, they may sit back and go along with the ride.

As mentioned before, our FBI Agents are highly trained and must follow specific guidelines, set forth by department administration and staff. Agents range in personality from kind and outgoing people, kind and quite people, to seemingly-angry and blunt people. They are very careful to not leave specific tracks and are equipped with powerful tools at their disposal to ensure that their true identities are never revealed. They use a variety of email services and email accounts, never have accounts registered on our official website, and follow other general guidelines to help keep themselves under the radar.

Spotting these agents is not a simple task --- and for good reason too. It could be a player on your team, a player in your squad, and even a member in your clan or guild. Believe it or not, an agent could even be an administrator or staff member of your fellow clan or guild. Some where clan tags while some don't. But in either case, most will never be sure whether they're seeing an agent or even having a verbal conversation with one.

I do like that idea. Hate those type of people who abuse the power of being a admin. Everyone, especially from the clan should be respectful, unless it's against a rival clan then it's a all out war :)

Will be intersting though. Haven't played BF3 in 3-4 days or so since I'm busy, but I'm sure I'll catch on to who the "Agents" are...If I keep seeing the same name all the time :P

Lol. Glad to hear positive feedback about it from our members. I can foresee some people going on scavengers to try and hunt these guys and gals down.

It'll help I think in many cases, even against rogue and abusive admins, as you mentioned. Some of the agents we have aren't even official members here...and some are leaders of other clans...even rival clans.  And the best part is, even the agents themselves don't know who the other agents are. :P
