Minor Update (June 2013)

Hello everyone,

 

 

 

Just letting everyone know a few things.

 

 

 

First: registrations are currently disabled due to an excessive number if spam registrations. Over 70 spam accounts were laying and cluttering our database, causing database instabilities and increased processing time which led to slower server performance.

 

 

 

In response to this, I've removed all spam accounts, leaving us with currently about 80 members in our community. Note that this does not reflect the number of official members in our organization (aka "platoon"), as this includes regular community "only" members (that is, members who aren't official members, but member of our community who can only view and post in the public areas of the community) and Crucial Effect clan members. Thus, anyone wishing to join our community or become an Official Member of the Team of Weapons And Tactics will need to request an admin to create them an account in the community. All-in-all, hopefully everyone should notice a slight improvement in the performance of the website.

 

 

 

Second: this is just a small note to the admins who are curious about a variety of things, including their profiles. It is known that a few members have gotten jinxed by having their profiles messed with. Some thought it wasn't possible to find out who did it, but alas, it has always been possible. In case you haven't figured it out yet, here's how:

 

1. Navigate to the AdminCP
   
2. Click on Stats & Logs
   
3. In the sidebar, click Logs
   

From there, it should be rather self-explanatory. For reference, changes made to a user whilest in the board (not in the AdminCP) will appear under "Moderator Logs" whereas changes made to a user within the AdminCP will appear under "Admin Logs".

 

 

 

Lastly: I added a few bad word filters, to filter some basic curse words. Just a small change in an effort to make our community look a bit friendlier and cleaner.
