[Members] Getting Started Guide

First and foremost, we want to welcome you to the Team of Weapons And Tactics. Here, we play together as a team, enjoy the game, and have fun. The organization was started primarily on the idea of providing casual gamers a place to unite and not be restricted by restrictive boundaries and unnecessary rules. Of course, we don't limit the members here to be casual gamers -- hardcore gamers are more than welcome to join our team. In fact, individuals from all over the world are welcome to join our team and ride with us through our journeys. This short getting started guide is designed to help new members get acquainted with our policies, procedures, and of course, the individual members.

Setting Your Tags

Tags are the characters displayed in brackets ( [ ] ) in front of your soldier's name in-game. Tags can be up to 4 characters long, as restricted by EA/DICE. Tags are designed for players to represent the platoon/clan/organization that they are a part of. Many clans and platoons require that their members where the clan/platoon's tag. Here, we do prefer that you wear your tag, however wearing it is not a requirement. If you are wearing a tag that has special meaning to you, or simply don't want to wear a tag -- period -- it's all fine with us.

The organization tag is [TWAT]. When you enter your tag, you do not include the brackets as those are included by default. Simply enter TWAT into the tag box in Battlelog by going to your profile > Edit. In the box next to your soldier name, type in TWAT. Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and click Save when finished. Your tags are now changed and should update throughout the Battlefield network in a few minutes (usually instantly).

Join the Platoon on Battlelog

(If you haven't already) If you have a Battlelog account, simply find one of our leaders or admins and send a friend request to them. Once they accept your request, they will send you an invite to our platoon. Accept the invite whenever you can and that's it! Alternatively, if you're able to find our platoon yourself, you can click the Apply to Join button and one of our leaders will accept you into the platoon shortly. Joining our platoon on Battlelog helps us keep track of our members on different platforms, allows our statistics together to be tracked, and more importantly, shows others that we're organized with our members.

Add Members as Friends

You can find a list of all our members via our platoon page on Battlelog. While you can also search for them on our website, we sponsor other clans and platoons and as a result, members on our website are not all a part of the Team of Weapons And Tactics. Because of this, finding members who play a specific game (eg.: Battlefield 3) might not be the easiest through our website.

Have Fun, Participate, Report, and Ask Questions

Just have fun! Participate in discussions when possible. Report any cheaters, glitchers, and/or hackers on our website by creating a thread about it. Or, PM an admin (or several admins) about the person and explain what happened and roughly when it happened. If you have other questions, just ask. We're all here to help each other. :)
