Battlefield 2142 Server Shutting Down

Hello everyone,

 

 

 

Just a heads up that the Battlefield 2142 server that we had will be shutting down, with it's last day of service on April 31, 2013. Battlefield 2142 is a great game, but the servers that are out there today are popular enough that players are sticking to those and not exploring the other not-so-popular servers. Despite a few people that did join our server, we were never able to actually start a round.

 

 

 

At $30/month, it's best I spend my money on something better for the organization. I have put in a cancellation to the service so that it will end on the date mentioned above. In the future, we can always consider getting another one should we have the desire to do so.

When I did jump on there, only 5 of the servers had any players. Your right they seemed to have just decided those are the ones for them.

Yeah. The top 2 servers seem to be:

 

• DETHKLOK (no rules, primarily Titan mode)
  
• Last Refuge (rules? not sure. Primarily conquest)
  

If you change your server filters, you'll find there's about 54 servers still up, but most are empty or near empty.
