LSPD-Official 31 Posted June 5, 2018 Share Posted June 5, 2018 Important Security Advisory - June 5, 2018 The Los Santos Police Department wishes to inform the community that we have once again received an overwhelming number of reports regarding a resurgence of fraudulent activities currently occurring within GTA Online, specifically on the PC platform. The majority of these reports concern malicious adjustments to player ranks—either drastically increasing or lowering their rank—resulting in affected players being unfairly sent to bad sport lobbies. It is important to understand that these activities are being carried out through the use of unauthorized cheats and exploit tools, and as such, the Los Santos Police Department has no control over these actions and is unable to intervene directly. Given the severity of these malicious tactics, we strongly urge all players to take proactive steps to safeguard their accounts and in-game progress by engaging only in trusted and secure lobbies, such as invite-only or solo sessions. Alternatively, players may choose to avoid online activities entirely until these issues have been adequately addressed and resolved. Link to post Share on other sites
